Where does wildlife health fit in?

Australia has an integrated biosecurity system that includes wildlife (Woods and Bunn 2005). The wildlife component is simple, national and functional. WHA assists Australian governments and stakeholders to coordinate activities ranging from surveillance to education and training, research and outreach. Activities contribute to preparedness, improved understanding and management of risk of diseases with wildlife as part of their epidemiology.
