This textbook depicts principles of animal physiology with morphological information in relation to cells, tissues, and organs involved in the physiological system. It describes the physiological purview of all systems for the better understanding of the students and is a valuable learning resource with an interrelationship with veterinary medicine.
The book emphasizes cellular physiology to body system function to homeostasis and immune function. It also contains an introductory chapter presenting an overview of animal physiology in this regard and elaborately describes cellular interaction with various functions of tissues and organs. The physiological processes with clinical correlations are nicely represented in the book.
