Quality of Life for Patient and Caregiver

A patient affected with chronic dermatologic disease offers the potential to “make or break” the relationship between a client and veterinarian. Multiple visits, treatment costs, and potential medication side effects all offer the potential for the caregiver/client to become frustrated. Although a few dermato­logical diseases are curable, many are not.
