three regions of Morocco revealed that stray dogs were the most infested category by E. granulosus, representing a prevalence of 40% in the Middle Atlas Mountains, 33% in Sidi Kacem and 25% in Oulmes, followed by semi-stray dogs and owned dogs (unpublished study) (Figures 1-3).
