PHASES OF GROWTH

Growth in higher animals start even before birth, the day zygote is formed and continue till aging/senesence. Thereafter, negative growth starts. The rate of growth is not uniform throughout life. It varies during different periods of life. According to Broadly, growth is divided into two phases: Prenatal Phase and Postnatal Phase.
