About the Editor

Dr. Tanmoy Rana is an accomplished veterinary professional and academician currently serving as Assistant Professor at the esteemed West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences (WBUAFS) in Kolkata, India.

Previously, he has obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BV.Sc & A.H.) and a Master’s degree (M.V.Sc.) in Veterinary Clinical Sciences from WBUAFS. He has pursued a Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta, focusing on veterinary clinical studies. Before joining aca­demia, Dr. Rana contributed to the welfare of animals and communities as a dedicated Veterinary Officer in the ARD department of the Government of West Bengal, India. In addition to his research endeavours, Dr. Rana shares his knowledge through teaching. He has conducted numerous lectures on arsenicosis at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute’s Eastern Regional Station, making a significant impact on future veterinarians. His dedication to science and academia has earned him numerous awards, includ­ing merit fellowships for academic excellence and national scholarships during his higher secondary and secondary education. He has published several research articles in journals of high repute and has contributed several chapters and edited numerous books. He is editorial board member of several international journals and organized interna­tional and national conferences.
